Guide Dogs NSW/ACT

Guide Dogs NSW/ACT exists to enhance the quality of life of people living with blindness or impaired vision, by assisting in their achievement of independence through access and mobility. We believe people living with impaired vision have equal rights to other people, and respect their right for human dignity.

We have a range of services including: Guide Dogs, Children Services, Pets As Therapy (companion dogs) & Orientation & Mobility Services that we provide free of charge to our clients throughout NSW and the ACT.

Without any government funding for the breeding, training and provision of Guide Dogs, which cost over $30,000, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT relies heavily on the support of business and the community to help deliver vital mobility services to those in need.
