    In May 2015, Carrie Bickmore won the prestigious Gold Logie at the TV Week Logie awards, which she dedicated to her late husband Greg who passed away almost five years ago following a 10-year battle with brain cancer.

    Bickmore has gone on to form Carries Beanies 4 Brain Cancer Foundation. The Foundation aims to raise the funds desperately needed to go towards research into the horrible disease that is brain cancer.

    Bickmore hopes the charity "will stop other families having to watch their loved one pass away from this insidious disease".

  • Clown Doctors address the psychosocial needs of the child in hospital in a unique way. By parodying the hospital routine, the Clown Doctors help children feel less traumatised by medical procedures. 'Clown Rounds' are conducted through all wards including intensive care and oncology, and most clinics including emergency and burns. Children can forget their illness for a moment and return to a world of fantasy and play.
