The Red Sky Ride is Western Australia’s unique charity event that brings together ordinary people supporting families with Cancer. The Red Sky Ride runs annually in March with the 2020 Ride covering over 630 kms (with an option for an additional 56 kms), to raise funds for Solaris Cancer Care.

Mirroring the cancer journey, the Red Sky cyclists band together testing their physical and emotional strength during a 4 day event, cycling through Western Australia’s scenic South West.

Running for over 13 years, the Red Sky Ride has raised over $3.2 million dollars for Solaris Cancer Care to date.

Solaris Cancer Care (Solaris) is the leading Western Australian cancer support service provider caring for people with cancer and their families. Solaris provides integrative client care that meet the unmet needs of the growing number of cancer survivors.

Solaris receives limited government funding and is heavily reliant on the generous collaboration, financial assistance and expertise of corporate and individual sponsors to deliver and sustain vital support services.

"Most of us have, in some way, been touched by the debilitating disease of cancer. The Solaris Cancer Care approach provides credible and inspiring help, in an innovative and compassionate way, to so many cancer families in Western Australia. The Red Sky Ride is a fantastic initiative that helps support people with cancer. The Ride achieves something extraordinary and symbolizes the challenges faced by so many of those with cancer. Thank you for assisting to raise funds and awareness for Solaris Cancer Care, a cause very dear to my heart."

- Justin Langer, Australian Cricket Coach and Patron of Solaris Cancer Care
